- My husband and I are both veterans. Both of my parents, an uncle and his wife, and various cousins dating to the Spanish-American War are buried in Arlington. It may be a famous national attraction but it is still cemetery where survivors go to pay their respects. It is not an amusement park.

- The judge who 'investigated and decided' her request for help after only one hour of 'thought' should have to visit her every day she's in the hospital or rehab center (weekends, too).

- I was in an establishment years ago that was robbed at gunpoint and had the gun pointed at me. Changed my life and my adult daughter's. She hasn't entered a fast food restaurant in the 18 years since--unfortunately, goes through the drive-through instead.

- When I pay for a meal in a restaurant, I am paying for food and ambiance. I don't mind dining with children just screamers of any age.
